Summary and Suggestion

 Procedure of practicum I first learned that there was a program called sea teacher when there were students from the Philippines neust doing internships at my campus, and I was offered to join the program, with all my heart I wanted to follow and find out more information. the first step I filled out the registration form link, I sent my personal data and curriculum vitae. after that I did 2 interview tests. At first I was pessimistic but it turned out that I was able to qualify with the parcialy pathway. After passing, my 3 friends and I conducted training for 1 month in terms of language readiness, mental readiness, and teaching readiness. Purpose of the practicum - to enable pre -service student teacher to develop their teaching skills and pedagogy - to encourage pre service student teachers to practice their english skills - to allow the lre service student teachers to gain a broader regional and world view - to expose future teacher to diverse teaching and learning situations...

 I am here teaching english and socio-culture in class 5 section A, I combine indonesia and Philippine culture, Above is my lesson plan  Procedure of teaching 1.orientation During orientation In the first week, I visited San Josef Elementary School for the first time and was handed over by the faculty. I got to know the teachers, staff and students of grade 5. My mentor teacher, mam jd, explained the flow of learning, the characteristics of the students and the places in the school environment. 2.observations In the second week I made observations not only in class 5 but also in the kindergarten in the elementary school neighborhood. I observed the situation during lessons, remembering the time when students would take a break and when students would go home for lunch. I also observed how the teacher elicited student responses during question and answer sessions. Even though the lesson was conducted partly in Filipino. Pedagogial Content

1. Teaching System The learning process uses a full day system (5 days of school) starting from 8am-3.50pm, with a lunch break at 12pm-1pm. The subjects taught are English, music, sports, math, science, filipino language, edukasyong pantahanan ar pangkabuhayan (EPP), edukasyon sa pagpapakato (ESP). 2. Teaching method Based on my observations, teachers in elementary schools use lecture and problem-based learning methods. Students are focused on group work, question and answer, and can actively participate in learning. During learning the teacher will give words of appreciation such as "good" or "right". 3. Materials and other learning sources The materials used are only in the form of modules made by class teachers that are in accordance with the existing curriculum, there are no learning books. My Cooperative Teacher

 I have 2 mentors who I call tatay christ and mam jd. They are my support system behind the scenes. During my internship at the school I only had a few difficulties, because they helped me with some of them. Tatay christ was the first to teach me about sign language, he has a funny, friendly face and is like my own father.  Mam jd was my mentor teacher in elementary school, with a face that already depicted her patience, kindness, she always gave me input and helped me in designing lessons to be interesting and effective to use in the classroom.
