Summary and Suggestion

 Procedure of practicum

I first learned that there was a program called sea teacher when there were students from the Philippines neust doing internships at my campus, and I was offered to join the program, with all my heart I wanted to follow and find out more information. the first step I filled out the registration form link, I sent my personal data and curriculum vitae. after that I did 2 interview tests. At first I was pessimistic but it turned out that I was able to qualify with the parcialy pathway.

After passing, my 3 friends and I conducted training for 1 month in terms of language readiness, mental readiness, and teaching readiness.

Purpose of the practicum

- to enable pre -service student teacher to develop their teaching skills and pedagogy
- to encourage pre service student teachers to practice their english skills
- to allow the lre service student teachers to gain a broader regional and world view
- to expose future teacher to diverse teaching and learning situations

Outcomes of practicum

By participating in this program, I gained insight into the outside world, I was able to know and even implement the education system in the Philippines. By venturing to teach, I was challenged in developing teaching media, teaching skills and the knowledge I conveyed.

The challenges of practicum 

My bigest challenge is teaching in English, I have to do 2 things at once, first I have to think about what I have to say and I have to translate in English.
